Tax-News.com: US President Barack Obama used a press briefing on the April 15 tax filing deadline day to reiterate his pledge to 'greatly simplify' the US tax code in the long-term, and emphasize the tax relief he has already delivered for working- and middle-class Americans.

    I have citizenship from America and would like to renounce due to high taxes. I know that I will have to pay the new exit tax which I don’t mind as I will make it back with future earning. I would also like to relocate to Switzerland after I renounce my citizenship. I have already received my economic citizenship from another country. I was wondering would it be a good ideal to let it be known to the Swiss government that I use to be an American citizen or not and why? Thank you in advance.
